If you have more than one account either for you or for your family members. You can have all those policies grouped into a single LIC online account. Having online LIC account benefits you for paying your premium from where you can check your next due dates to pay your premium and also get your receipts for which you have paid your premium. Also, if you already have your LIC online account, you can add any further policies of your family members like spouse or children or for yourself into the same LIC online account by following the below steps.
And if you have policies but do not hold an online LIC account, Click here to create one and then you shall follow the below steps to add any additional policies to the newly created account.
How to add your own policies to your account?
Once you have created and set your online LIC account with one of your policies and now you wish to add another one or more policy of yours. Log in to your account by clicking here.
Once logged in, click on the Basic Services -> Add New Policies menu on the left side as shown in the below image.
- Enter the policy number of the new policy you like to add.
- Select self in Relationship if the policy is your own or other options for according to your family members.
- Click submit.
- The policy will get added.
How to add the policies for your spouse and children?
To add your spouse and children policies to your LIC account, update your profile with details of your spouse and children. Update your profile by going going to Profile Management -> Update Profile.-> Family Information.
After successful updation of your profile, you shall follow the steps given in Step – 1 to enroll the policies of either your Spouse or Children
